Parks and Rec announces Fall Family Festival
(10/12/2006) The New Haven Department of Parks, Recreation and Trees invites the public to the Fall Family Festival, a recreational afternoon, full of excitement for the whole family on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The event focuses on beautiful East Rock Park. “We encourage you to participate in our fall canoe trip at the Mill River, or to climb to the top of our portable climbing wall. We also invite you to enjoy a wide arrange of activities scheduled for this day,” said Director of Parks Robert Levine.

Live Dixieland Music by the Clam Diggers.
All events are free and open to the public (except canoeing which is $2 per person).
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Transportation will be provided between the summit and College Woods.
